Glad to participate in this effort to keep Bluegrass Country alive and well in the area. Katy Daley, Brad Kolodner, Lisa-Kay Howard Hughes and others do a fabulous job in bringing the old and the new to listeners online and on air! Keep up the good work!

Good luck to all today — as proposals are due at 4pm.

I’m proud to have been one of the many in the Bluegrass and Old-Time Music community who stepped forward to save the National Heritage that is Bluegrass Country.

If ever there was a worthy cause, this was it . . . and I salute all who volunteered hundreds of hours and donated thousands of dollars to this cause.

Of course, if we are selected as the new owner, this will be a new beginning — in which case we’ll need support from listeners not only in the Greater Washington DC Area but also from listeners across the Nation and throughout the world.

So standby (or shall I say, “Stay tuned.”) for more news as we enter the next phase of this adventure.
